CAPE TOWN – Parliament is voting on the 2025 Budget. 

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana tabled a revised budget last month. 

But, the proposal sparked tensions within the Government of National Unity.

 The main bone of contention was a proposed half-a-percentage-point VAT increase.
