BENONI – Parents in Ekhurhuleni,  Gauteng face a bleak start to the 2024 academic year.

This as last-minute rush to place pupils in schools continues amidst the second day of school.

Parents now are forced to long queues to secure placements for their children.

Meanwhile also in Mamelodi Pretoria parents have lined up outside district offices, desperate for help since Wednesday.
