WATCH | 9 buses destroyed in North West blaze

MORETELE – The North West Transport Investments Company says it will launch an internal investigation into the cause of a fire at one of its depots.

Nine buses were destroyed in a blaze in Moretele, in the North West.

While the company has not ruled out foul play, it says it cannot confirm whether the fire was deliberately set.

This incident comes just days after a coordinated attack in Mpumalanga, where dozens of buses were torched amid alleged growing tensions between the bus and taxi industries.
