The Mommy Club Sugar & Spice returns with a reunion.Neetasha Singh Bugwandin stormed out on set because she felt bullied. She says she does not intend on making amends with the other mommies. This year, we were introduced to nine mothers from the city of Durban, giving insight to how modern Indian mommies who are well off live in the The Mommy Club: Sugar and Spice.
This reality TV show aired on Showmax with new episodes dropping for 13 weeks and recently returned with a two-part reunion.
As much as the mommies portrayed friendship and unity throughout the show, the reunion proved otherwise as it seems like there were many unresolved issues experienced off-camera.
With Christina Devraj being accused of using a fake social media account under the handle of Londi, to an angry Neetasha Singh Bugwandin storming out of the reunion after an intense argument with Naliyana Uma, the mommies were heated and ready to address the issues they had with one another.
Neetasha decided to set the record straight as to what led to her walking off set during the reunion and how her relationship with the rest of the mommies currently stands.
Neetasha states that she felt threatened and bullied by the mommies during the reunion as they constantly ganged up on her, accusing her of being frequently aggressive and that there was a supposed instance where she kicked doors down as she aggressively confronted the other mommies in the dressing room.
In her defense she says these accusations are false and defamatory.
“What shocked me the most was Asharia endorsing a false narrative about the dressing room incident. I was in no way up in anyone’s face nor did I kick down any doors.
“Those statements were deeply defamatory, a blatant attack on my dignity, and just constant insults throughout the reunion. There’s a huge difference between aggression and anger. I can own my anger because I had every right to feel it, but I was not aggressive,” Neetasha says.
Neetasha felt betrayed by the mommies who were constantly picking on her and to add on to her frustrations, Neetasha was also experiencing a bereavement during the shoot of the reunion as she lost her aunt, who she considered as a mother.
“On top of the insults and belittling, everyone on set was fully aware that I had just lost a close family member hours before the shoot. The lack of support or empathy from women I considered my friends was deeply hurtful, although I must commend Lenore for standing by me and the truth,” Neetasha says.

Neetasha adds that she does not regret walking out during the reunion as it was an act of standing up for herself and walking out of a toxic environment. She also felt like staying there was not worth it considering that everyone was ganging up on her and that it was clearly a battle she was losing.
“I will always stand up for what is right, and the toxic and hostile environment I was placed in absolutely warranted my leaving. If anything, I regret not walking out sooner.”
In conclusion, Neetasha states that she does not see herself making amends with the other mommies as “once bitten, twice shy”.
