Lerato Manaka will present a new show called Women of Steel on Moja Love.

EX-CONVICT Lerato Manaka is on a mission to help other women.

Lerato (40) has joined Moja Love with a new show called Women of Steel.

She’ll be presenting the show, which will air in March 2025.

She spoke to Daily Sun about the upcoming show.

“Women of Steel was inspired by countless untold stories of resilience, transformation, and courage among South African women who have faced adversity yet emerged stronger. The show’s foundation is the belief that sharing these stories can inspire others to overcome life’s challenges and embrace their strength.

“For me, the concept was born from my journey. One of overcoming hardship, finding a second chance, and using that chance to uplift others. I know firsthand how life can present seemingly insurmountable obstacles,” Lerato said.

“I’ve seen how powerful it is to see others succeed and grow against the odds. By showcasing women who’ve journeyed through struggles, loss, and transformation, Women of Steel hopes to connect with audiences across the country, reminding us that there is always potential for renewal and empowerment.”

Lerato said she felt it was important for her to work on this show so she could give back to other women.

Lerato says her show is aimed at helping women who’ve gone through difficulties.

“As a woman who has faced my challenges, it’s deeply important to me to give back and create a platform for women who often go unheard. South African women are incredibly strong, yet their resilience and achievements sometimes don’t receive the recognition they deserve.

“By spotlighting these stories, I hope to celebrate our strength, collective resilience, and the unique experiences that make South African women so impactful. Women face unique challenges in society, and the courage to keep moving forward is a story worth telling and retelling. For me, this show is about giving visibility to the lives, challenges, and victories of these women. It’s an opportunity to help more women realise that they, too, are capable of incredible strength and transformation,” she said.

The TV presenter said the show is for women who’ve gone through difficulties in their lives.

“Through the show, we aim to spotlight incredible women whose stories inspire, teach, and uplift. Each episode will delve deeply into the lives of women from diverse backgrounds, sharing their struggles, their journeys to overcome, and the lessons they’ve gained along the way.

“I’ll be working closely with these women, sharing their stories, and in some cases, helping them connect with resources or mentors who can support them on their journeys.”

Lerato said they are also looking for brands to work with.

“Ideal partners would be those who believe in creating positive social impact and support initiatives that foster resilience, personal growth, and community development,” she said.
