Mexican-American actress Eva Longoria shares stories about her family at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

HER face lights up when she mentions her son.

Mexican-American actress, director, and producer Eva Longoria talks about her son Santiago Enrique Baston with a glowing expression.

She was one of the Hollywood celebrities who graced the fourth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival with their presence this week.

Speaking to her fans, filmmakers, and the media, she shared her industry expertise and insights into her personal life.

Eva is known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on the globally loved series Desperate Housewives.

The 49-year-old Eva, who has a six-year-old child, said she’s often asked if being a mum is challenging.

She said that, in fact, it is easier than expected.

“When you have a child, you focus on what’s important. Before, it was like you are the centre of the universe.”

She said that having a child has made her set her priorities straight.

“Before I would say yes to that, I would go there, do that, and I would say yes to everything.”

Eva said she’s at a stage where it’s easy to disagree.

“Now, the word no is a beautiful word. It takes away time from my family, my husband and my son. It has to be something I really wanna do, somewhere I wanna go and also serve as so many things. It’s been so easy to prioritise what I want to do.”

She said that she has three stepkids as well.

“My son is my life. I can’t imagine having anyone more perfect in my eyes.

“He’s my partner in crime, my buddy, and we have so much fun together,” she said.

Eva also spoke about empowering the Latina women.

She said she always does movies to help her community and shared that she has helped many Latino women.

“Something happened to me the other day. I was somewhere, and I met this girl, and she said I gave her a scholarship eight years ago of two thousand dollars. Just that small amount. I didn’t pay for her whole college, but it helped her. She’s now a lawyer. Talk about multiplying,” Eva said.
