This woman has been arrested for murder and kidnapping.
A BUSINESSMAN has been rescued from his kidnappers.
The businessman, who is a Pakistan national, was kidnapped in Lenasia, south of Joburg more than two weeks ago by three men driving a BMW X5.
According to Lieutenant-Colonel Amanda van Wyk, a ransom was immediately demanded for his release.
However, cops rescued the businessman in Sebokeng, Vaal on Monday, 23 December and arrested a 46-year-old female kidnapper for murder and kidnapping.

“Following extensive investigation, the SAPS kidnapping team joined by members from crime intelligence, Gauteng hostage and negotiation team, Germiston Hawks, Sedibeng search and rescue, SAPS Lenasia and SAPS Evaton operationalised information they obtained on the location of the suspects in Sebokeng,” she said.
She said a search of the identified property led the team to the victim in one of the rooms.
“The body of an unidentified African man was also found at the premises. A female suspect was subsequently arrested at the scene. Police also recovered two cellphones from the scene which will form part of further investigations. More arrests are expected,” said Van Wyk.
