Research conducted by the African Brain Child Group in Paediatric Neurosurgery reveals that approximately two-thousand children between the ages of birth and 12 are treated annually for brain injuries caused by road accidents.
These injuries are often the result of inadequate vehicle safety measures, including poor tyre maintenance.
