JOHANNESBURG – Police union Popcru wants 11 corruption accused police officers suspended.
They appeared before the Vereeniging magistrate’s court on Thursday.
The men and women in blue include senior officers from Sedibeng District, Evaton SAPS, Meyerton SAPS, and the Gauteng Highway Patrol.
The group faces multiple charges including corruption and extortion.
In the dock are a Colonel, two Lieutenant-Colonels, two sergeants and seven constables.
