Mozambique unrest | Calls for politicians to iron out differences

KOMATIPOORT – Rotting stock, anger at politicians, and millions of rand in losses.

This is some of the aftermath of weeks of post-elections violence in Mozambique.

The political discontent culminated in the temporary closure of the Lebombo Border Post earlier this week.

Those hardest hit by the closure are calling for officials to find common ground.

The Border Management Authority has received assurances from its Mozambican counterparts that things will stabilise.
