DURBAN – Flood victims in Durban’s southern areas are demanding to be relocated to government subsidised housing.
Scores of people are being temporarily accommodated in a hotel while government scrambles to secure temporary residential units.

Communities affected by recent floods have been declared disaster areas.
CoGTA Minister Velenkosini Hlabisa will announce further funding for damaged infrastructure in flood hit areas later this month.
