PRETORIA – The Health Department says Galephirimi, or Aldicarb, is not a rat poison, but a banned and highly poisonous chemical.

This in response to the recent spate of foodborne illnesses, which have led to the deaths of more than 20 children.
Gift Moncho is from unit in the Agriculture Department that regulates the use, sale, distribution and importation of pesticides in the country.
