Actress Rashmika Mandanna is actively working in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Hailing from Karnataka, Rashmika reportedly declined an invitation to the Bengaluru International Film Festival last year, according to Congress MLA Ravi Kanika.
He claimed that Rashmika, who has settled in Hyderabad, allegedly stated she does not know where Karnataka is. Though she started her career in Kannada cinema, he accused her of neglecting Karnataka and the Kannada language. He questioned whether she should be taught a lesson for this.
This statement has sparked controversy. However, Rashmika’s representatives have denied the allegations, stating that she was never invited and that all such claims are false.
