Crime involving police undermine public trust

CAPE TOWN – The Democratic Alliance in the Western Cape says that ongoing allegations of sexual misconduct involving SAPS officials threaten to undermine public trust. 

Recent media reports claim that two police officers are accused of kidnapping and raping a woman on a farm.

This incident is not an isolated case, there have been four reported instances in the province where police officials have faced accusations of rape.
