HAMMARSDALE – Police Minister Senzo Mchunu has denounced attacks on police officers as an attack on the state.

He was speaking at the funeral of Moses Dumisani Ndlovu, who was killed at a crime scene, along with a colleague, Danasagren Naveen Pather, last week.

Pather was laid to rest on Monday.

Lamenting the challenges facing police, Mchunu also condemned the recent murder-suicide on the south coast, in which a man is believed to have killed his wife and child before hanging himself.

eNCA’s Zanele Buthelezi filed this report.
