City Power had suspended load reduction until the end of this month, but now says it may be forced to re-implement it without prior notice to avoid a total grid collapse.
City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena said they’re dealing with thousands of outages.
“Teams are assisting with the backlog,” he said.
