BMA Commissioner provides an update on border security

POLOKWANE – The Border Management Authority (BMA) says their efforts in keeping SA’s borders safe and secure have received a much needed boost.

The BMA has deployed drones at five major ports of entry.

The drones are borrowed from the Department of Agriculture.

Authorities are keeping a watchful eye on cross-border traffic from Zimbabwe which is expected to peak as people make their way back into South Africa.

eNCA’s Moloko Moloto spoke with BMA Commissioner Nakampe Masiapato about the situation.
