Japanese American singer Hikaru Utada has shared a remix of their 2024 single “Electricity” courtesy of Arca. Originally appearing as a bonus track on last year’s greatest hits compilation Science Fiction, the song is reimagined here into a glitchy, distorted club cut. Listen below.
“I wanted to go for something celebrational and to make it as electric as the song title implied—euphoric even,” Arca said in a press statement, with Utada adding “There’s an unmistakable Arca sound, yet she draws from such a beautiful range of music and experiences that you never really know what you’re going to get.”
