DENEYSVILLE, Free State – Business owners in the Vaal say government should be better prepared and not open sluice gates at the last minute.
Water and Sanitation Department officials have opened the fifth gate at the Vaal Dam, as inflows surge at an alarming rate, taking capacity to 109-percent.
eNCA senior reporter Silindelo Masikane, has already found several flooded areas along the Vaal River.
