Helen Zille takes the hot seat in Showmax comedy roast

JOHNNESBURG – The Showmax Comedy Central Roast has announced that Democratic Alliance chairperson, Helen Zille, is headlining this year.

The roast is popular for its comedic takedowns of prominent figures in the media, and entertainment industry.  

Theodor Mashele reports that Zille is the first politician to be a roast victim.
