JOHANNESBURG – TB remains the leading cause of death in South Africa.
It claims around 56,000 lives per year, and over half are people living with HIV.
As we mark World TB Day, government is launching a programme to test five million people annually.
It says early detection and treatment will reduce deaths.
We discuss this with Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi.
