Chiefs held by CT City at home to remain middle of the table, Arrows beat Polokwane

1 min

Dillan Solomons replaced Reeve Frosler while Mduduzi Shabalala was preferred for Pule Mmodi with both players dropping to the bench as they looked as Nabi refreshed the team.

For Ertugral, he went with a team made mostly of tried and tested campaigners including Darren Keet, Lorenzo Gordinho, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Thulani Serero, Darwin Gonzalez and Fortune Makaringe.

Chiefs could have taken a 1-0 lead to the break but midfielder Shabalala missed a glorious opportunity from inside the box after he stole the ball from casual City defender Nathan Fasika.

Earlier in the match, Fasika and Amadou Soukouna had good opportunities to score for City but they could not find the back of the net and Chiefs also had few notable opportunities through Glody Lilepo and Solomons.

Chiefs were under pressure after 36 minutes with Soukouna arrived in the box after he was released from the midfield, but Given Msimango produced a timely sliding tackle to clear the danger.
