CAPE TOWN – A video of Cape Town Metro Police officers wrestling with a minibus taxi driver has gone viral on social media.Â
Officers are seen struggling with the driver and bringing him to the ground.
Police claim the driver was resisting arrest, but he says he was targeted for protesting excessive force in a previous incident.
Cape Town Safety and Security MMC, JP Smith, said there were two incidents on Tuesday where traffic officers were attacked.
