What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I just always played, and it all started when I was playing football at recess, and I had a buddy that played, and my mom signed me up and the rest was history.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

2022 Shrum Bowl, an inter city rivalry between us and Simon Fraser and it was my first start and we went to their place and it was a fun, hostile environment and we won and it was my favorite memory.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Be the best player I can be and make it to the professional leagues.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Jameis Winston, he seems like a fun, cool guy to be around for a day.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My parents, what they have built and done is something I look up to and raising a big family and they have excellent values and the amount of help they’ve given me and what they’ve sacrificed to help get me to where I am today inspires me to do that for my kids.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Playing cover 2 man, as a safety it’s a playmaking spot to come up and get interceptions.

What should we know about Ronan Horrall the person?

I’m a competitor and I’m the hardest worker when I step into a room and on the field.

What stands out about your film the most?

My physicality, it’s such an important factor in special teams and defense and that’s what sets my game apart.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

In general, it’s mainly about knowing what you are capable of and usually that’s anything you put your mind to, but adversity and challenges and obstacles are just temporary and in the long-term vision you just have to see past the adversity and obstacles.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Physicality and athleticism, speed and agility, and a hard worker with a good work ethic, who is relentless.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Winning, I think that winning is what I love the most. My coach said “chase the winning feeling” and you have 24 hours after a game to feel that and you’re always chasing to win and be the best.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Will Hunter, linebacker at UBC, he’s a dog and gets it done and he’s a grit guy and knows the game and is athletic.
