Black Cat Girl says she’s thrilled to be on TV but notes that she isn’t the same person anymore.
FORMER stripper Black Cat Girl has concerns. Â
She’s worried about the timing of her upcoming appearance in Moja Love’s latest series, Skomota Ngwana Sesi.Â
The recently premiered reality show explores the life of dancer, musician, and DJ Thabang Sefala, popularly known as Skomota.Â
In the show, singer and TikToker Black Cat Girl, whose real name is Mathapelo Kanyane, strives to win back her ex-boyfriend, Skomota.Â
The 33-year-old musician shares her love for dancing while performing.Â
She told Daily Sun even though she’s thrilled about appearing on TV, watching herself feels cringe-worthy.Â
“I’ve changed, and I’m a different person. That show was shot back when I was still a stripper, and I used to embrace dancing half-naked,” she said. Â

She said she doesn’t want people to be misled.Â
“I have a following that also comprises kids, and that’s one of the reasons I decided to change my ways. I want to be a good role model and not let kids think seducing men is the right thing to do.”Â
Black Cat Girl expressed that she doesn’t regret the life she used to live because it shaped her.Â
“Everyone starts somewhere, and that life made me stronger and got me to where I am now. I’m happy with my current life.” Â
She said she’s over Skomota, and people shouldn’t assume what they see currently reflects her present situation.Â
“I’ve moved on with my life, but I’m glad I can say I was on TV too. I have mixed emotions about this huge milestone.”Â
