The 50-year-old from Eshowe, KZN was invited by the breakfast show to talk about his radio broadcasting academy, Magic Broadcasting Academy.
After the show, listeners took to social media to share their excitement and even went as far as calling for him to return to the station.

“I miss being on radio and if you remember I’ve never bad mouthed Ukhozi FM. I just miss being behind the Ukhozi FM mic.
“On a serious note, I’ll do any programme they give me, and I’ll appreciate it. I can do any show, even on Sundays or at midnight,” he said.
Linda, who has been operating his broadcasting academy at Mfolozi TVET in Empangeni, KZN for many years, said he is expanding it to Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Newcastle.
He said the academy has produced many well-known presenters including Gagasi FM presenter, Luyanda Mnqayi.
He will hold auditions for his academy at the Hilton Hotel in Durban on Saturday, 8 February.
“I offer three courses: advertising, film and TV production and radio production. At the audition, I want to see passion. I will place the auditionees behind the microphone so they can tell me why they want to do the course and what they understand about the course. Then I will advise them which course they can do,” he said.
