Jennifer Hudson’s endorsement sparks Yanga’s new musical journey.
FORMER Idols star Yanga Sobetwa will take advantage of Jennifer Hudson’s co-sign.
The If This Isn’t Love hitmaker shared Yanga’s video on her social media platforms and complimented her performance.
This was a performance from 2018 when Yanga won Idols.
Yanga (23) told Daily Sun she’d take advantage of this opportunity.
“Moments like these are a blessing, and I’m definitely looking at ways to build on this exposure and connect with a wider audience.”
She said that seeing Jennifer react was priceless.
“I was so surprised! To see someone as iconic as Jennifer Hudson not only watching my performance but reacting so positively was a surreal moment for me. It’s one of those things you dream about as an artist, and I felt truly honoured,” she said.
Yanga’s videos from season 14 surface now, with people complimenting her.
“It’s humbling and heartwarming. Idols was such a transformative experience for me, and the fact that people are still touched by those performances all these years later reminds me why I do what I do. Music truly has no expiration date,” said Yanga.
She shared with the SunTeam that she’s working on new music.
“I’m working on some singles and a live recording. A couple of other projects that are not music-based. Keep up with me on my social media platforms for updates,” the singer added.
