Mbenenge questions Zondo’s role in complaint
JOHANNESBURG – Retired Chief Justice Raymond Zondo was the talking point of today’s sexual harassment proceedings against Eastern Cape Judge President Selby Mbenenge.
During cross-examination at the Judicial Conduct Tribunal, Mbenenge’s lawyer questioned whether Zondo was involved in drafting the formal complaint for Andiswa Mengo.
The tribunal is investigating whether Mbenenge committed gross misconduct when he asked for sexual favours from Mengo, his junior colleague.
