TYLA rocks Africa with an unforgettable performance at the Sun Arena in Tshwane. 

The highly anticipated concert, also live-streamed across 44 African countries on Showmax on Saturday, 18 January, brought together an impressive crowd of A-list celebrities and dedicated fans, all eager to witness her stage presence. 

The atmosphere erupted in excitement, with the audience screaming when she graced the stage,  

The 22-year-old Grammy award winner has quickly become a household name thanks to her blend of afrobeat, pop, and R&B influences. 

Tyla performed her hit songs like Truth or Dare, Push 2 Start, and Jump.  

She closed it off with a bang with her hit song Water. 

The singer was dancing on a stage that had artificial rain.

Celebrities such as Langa Mavuso and Lasizwe, with Real Housewives stars Christall Kay, Jojo, and Laconco, were present at the show. 

Lasizwe said that she was excited to see Tyla perform live.  

He said he was looking forward to seeing her perform Water the most. 

Former Big Brother contestant Makhekhe, whose real name is Tshepo Tau, said he was excited for the concert. 

“It’s my first time being in a concert like this, and I was looking forward to seeing her perform Water. Shoutout to Tyla,” he said.

Rapper 25k said that he was also happy to be attending the concert. 

“We are in my hometown, Tshwane, and people came out to see Tyla,” he said.

Daily Sun previously spoke to Narsi, chief marketing officer for Showmax and MultiChoice South Africa, who said that Tyla was chosen for the event because of her ability to transcend the music and culture boundaries. 

“She’s defining the global stage in her own way, and that’s the kind of spirit we wanted for our first live-streamed concert,” she said.
