DAVEYTON mum receives Christmas miracle!
Ntombfuthi Ntlagulela from Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, was worried about what she would prepare for her four children on Christmas Day.
The unemployed mum expressed her surprise on Tuesday, 24 December, when she noticed cars parked near her shack.
“I peeped through a window and saw one of my neighbours, Lettie Mokgalo, getting out of one of the cars and pointing to my shack. Little did I know, these were the living angels who would make me and my family happy,” said Ntombfuthi.
The group was from the Given ‘The Giver’ Foundation, accompanied by Bishop Benjamin Dube and Mokgalo.
“They informed me they were going to donate groceries to me and my children. My heart was beating fast, and I didn’t know what to say. Since my husband passed away this year, it has been a struggle for me and the children,” Ntombfuthi said.
Ntombfuthi’s son, Sihle Ntlagulela (14), told the Daily Sun that he and his siblings are delighted to receive groceries.

“I used to hear about living angels, but on Tuesday, I witnessed it when I saw Bishop Dube and the foundation members donating food,” said Sihle.
Mokgalo said she once visited the family, noticed their struggles, and decided to donate clothes and food.
“I approached the foundation to help the family. To my surprise, they promised to bring groceries on Christmas Eve. I’m so happy the family received help,” said Mokgalo.
Foundation members Kego Mohlala, Simon Oliphant, and Given Muhlari said they were honoured to assist the Ntlagulela family.
“We were touched by the family’s situation and decided to help. We hope to engage with the family to see how we can assist them in the future. ”
Bishop Dube was delighted to accompany the foundation.
“I applaud the work done by the foundation. We need to work towards helping others,” Dube said.
