This after the Under the Influence hitmaker’s two-day concert at the FNB Stadium over the weekend.

Chris Brown filled the stadium in Joburg to capacity for two days, and while many praised him, the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) founder said that this was nothing new.

The self-proclaimed prophet took to social media to throw shade at the superstar.

He said that he, too, had filled the same stadium, but with even more people. Bushiri expressed frustration that while his achievement went unrecognised, people now shower Chris Brown with praise.

He said the lack of applause for his own accomplishment is rooted in dislike, despite his success in filling the stadium.

“Chris Brown’s concert at FNB Stadium drew a crowd of 94 000 and the South African weirdo media is going crazy crowning him; ‘the biggest crowd puller’. What a shame. Hate is really an animal,” Bushiri wrote.

He said the media is trying to ignore his meetings at the same stadium.

“One hundred and ten thousand people attending my Crossover Night prayers for four consecutive times. Despite the FNB Management posting it on the public display, no South African media wrote about it, till date,” he said.

Bushiri said people have shown hate towards him.

“Indeed, if you hate someone, even their most beautiful face looks ugly. The South African media is trying to enthrone Chris Brown and dethrone the gospel. They gladly wrote about Chris Brown fans; ‘they were entertained’ and my followers who attended prayers; ‘they were brainwashed’. Wow. Soon South Africans will wake up to the real agenda happening in their land — hating men of God and celebrating evil. Diabolical,” he said.

Many users bashed him for his comments, saying that he was a false prophet who took people’s money.
