Kaizer Chiefs: All defenders linked with exits

1 min

Talk about wholesale changes. Every single one of Kaizer Chiefs defenders have been linked with exits.

Kaizer Chiefs have signed Rushwin Dortley, Bongani Sam, Miguel Inacio, Bradley Cross and Njabulo Blom. Thus, signing a total of 4-5 new defenders (depending on where Blom plays).

Meanwhile, most of their current defenders have been linked with exits (barring their new signings).

CHIEFS MAKE WHOLESALE CHANGES TO DEFENCE

To date, S’fiso Hlanti and Njabulo Ngcobo have left Naturena.

Meanwhile, the addition of Chiefs 4-5 new defenders means more defensive departures are imminent.

So, Aden McCarthy is one of the players Nabi does not have plans for at Chiefs. Additionally, one of these Amakhosi stars will be FORCED to leave due to PSL rules.

MORE AMAKHOSI DEFENDERS LINKED WITH EXITS

Therefore, McCarthy and Edmilson Dove join the likes of Thatayaone Dihtlokwe and Zitha Kwinika as Chiefs defenders linked with exits. Dihtlokwe is the main likely to be sacrificed after Dove, should Chiefs secure another foreign-based signing.

“Now, heading into his second season with the Soweto giants, it’s believed that he is one of the players who could be sacrificed to make a foreign spot available,” the insider stated on SoccerLaduma.

Surprisingly, Kwinika is also linked with a possible exit under Nabi.

“The Siya crew has been led to believe that the future of Zitha Kwinika is currently hanging in the balance at Kaizer Chiefs, with a possibility of an exit. Chiefs are expected to have a big clear out of players now that the season is over. Kwinika, it’s understood, is one of the players they are willing to let go, with management not being fully convinced of his contribution over the last two seasons,”SoccerLaduma reported.
