SOCIAL media users show DJ Sbu flames.
This after the businessman, musician, and radio personality, whose real name is Sbusiso Leope, criticised a street vendor in a video.
The 47-year-old DJ is known for supporting street vendors, especially those who sell his energy drink, MoFaya.But this time, he made social media users angry when he posted a video of himself doing the opposite of what he usually does.
In the video, he’s in the car when he sees a street vendor who wasn’t selling his drink.
“Let me see what you have. You don’t have MoFaya? Which world are you living in? You are losing R200. What type of hustler is this?” he asked while driving away.
Many people had a lot to say about the video. Some said they were disappointed in what he did and that he embarrassed the man. Others said he was unkind for what he did.

After getting backlash, the Remember When It Rained hitmaker issued an apology.
“I’m sorry guys for any offence. None was intended. We are empowering my brother as we speak. More to come soon. It’s all love,” he said.
DJ Sbu posted another video of him giving the vendor cans of MoFaya to sell.
“The other day I was complaining, saying that you don’t have it, but now take this,” he said while taking out packs of MoFaya.
He’s also seen in the video handing the vendor R200.
“I’m sorry, and now you are selling MoFaya,” said DJ Sbu.Â
Many social media users are still not happy with what he did and said he likes clout. Some are evensaid they want to boycott his product.
Daily Sun reached out to DJ Sbu but his phone rang unanswered at the time of publishing.
