Nominees for Radio Awards of the Year announced

The finalists for the 2024 Telkom Radio Awards have been revealed, spotlighting nominees in key categories such as Station of the Year, MyStation Most Votes, Most Loyal Listeners, Hall of Fame, Bright Star, and Station Manager’s Choice.

This Saturday, 30 November 2024, 85 prestigious awards will be presented at the Telkom Radio Awards ceremony in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Marking its 14th edition, the Telkom Radio Awards also celebrate a milestone—100 years of radio in South Africa. The awards honor excellence across Campus, Community, Public Broadcast (PBS), Commercial, Podcast, and Internet radio sectors.

Entries were meticulously reviewed by a panel of over 50 judges, with BDO South Africa serving as the official auditors to ensure a rigorous and transparent process.

To qualify, entries had to air on FM or AM (excluding the Internet Radio category) between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2024.
